I really enjoyed creating this small world. It is evident the village has rolled up the sidewalks and settled down for the night. However, there appears to be someone … perhaps more than one … who is awake and aware of all that goes forward during the night. It might be quiet, but the night is not silent, nor is it at rest. Indeed the darkened universe has a unique and profound energy revealed to those who pause to watch.
