Constance Patterson is a Connecticut artist and designer who divides her time between a successful interior design business and her original, creative artistic endeavors which include oil painting, drawing, working with oil pastels, and watercolors.

“Working with three dimensional spaces and integrating another’s desires for an interior is in such contrast to working alone and thrashing out problems in two dimensions that I find it refreshing to switch from one to another.”

Interests in architecture, gardening, reading and travel provide inspiration for paintings and drawings as well as exposure to new ideas to refresh her interior design expertise.

She has a degree in Art and Art History from Beloit College in Wisconsin, as well as a Masters degree in Information Science from Syracuse University (New York) and an Interior Design Degree from The Inchbald School in London England. Her work is represented in several private collections.
